First and foremost, as the next Congresswoman from Kansas, I will always stand with Israel.

Israel is the only true democracy in the Middle East, and it’s imperative that our leaders in the United States maintain, build and strengthen our partnership with Israel. To that end, I believe there are several critical components of the US and Israel relationship including:

Supporting a Two-State Solution with Security for Israel

I strongly support efforts and steps to achieve a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I was pleased to see the Trump Administration unveil its “Peace to Prosperity Vision” earlier this year to bring long-awaited peace to the Middle East following the President’s significant accomplishments.

Supporting and Expanding Foreign Aid and Military Aid for Israel

I not only support foreign aid to Israel and our allies around the world that promote peace through democratic governments; I also strongly support the need for military aid to Israel as it continues to experience adverse threats to its borders and throughout the Middle East.

Recognition of Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel

Jerusalem is the spiritual and political capital of Israel and must remain as such. Further, I strongly support President Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Denuclearize Iran

For decades, Iran has ignored the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and it is clear the regime has a strong desire to build and possess nuclear weapons. Further, as the world’s leading sponsor of terror, it is paramount that through partnering with our regional allies, the United States does everything in our power to keep Iran from ever accomplishing their goal of possessing nuclear weapons.

Supporting the Combating BDS Act & Fighting Anti-Semitism in our Society

On July 5, 2019, I signed the Combat Anti-Semitism Pledge. Throughout my career, as described above, I have always stood up and spoken out against prejudice and discrimination. In Congress, I view my role no differently.

Work to Further Foster Israel & US Business Relationships

The US is Israel’s single largest trading partner, and we must look at opportunities that:

  1. Expand economic collaboration between our countries by advancing US-Israel alliance policies that promote pro-business and economics opportunities between our two countries; and

  2. Expand trade relations.
